Bet you didn't know

Her name is Betty.

Betty is the sweet adorable elderly woman that I volunteer to befriend for one hour each week.

Due to data protection, I had to seek permission from Betty to post about her in my blog. She happily said yes. Though I am at liberty to, I will only share what I choose to, about her.

She is an avid reader, and has traveled to quite a few countries. In her younger years, she was a girl guide, footballer and medical lab technician.

Apparently she also loves plants.

And she quite likes taking selfies with her 'friends'.

I am happy my volunteer organization matched her to me. Can you tell?

I am certainly enjoying my range of experiences here in this city. I think there's another City, I want to take you to next...
