The City Campus - Nottingham Trent University

Yes, that's the City I want to take you to today.

So my Uni has four campuses and I am based at the City Campus (thus named because it is smack in the middle of Nottingham and is meters away from the City Center).

Needless to say, the Uni is very big and I am sorta kinda active in Uni life (to some extent), so I think it's best to let the pictures do the talking.

Let's go...

Never mind that I'm late, I am about to capture pictures for my blog post. :)
Please ignore my fingers on the left, and that random trash situation happening on the right of the campus map!

So today, of all days, our timetable was rearranged and we had all our classes in different buildings on campus, as opposed to our usual 'home room'.

Then after my first class, I had to rush out to a meeting with the NTU Faith leaders to talk about my role as a Faith Ambassador. Check out our faith space - The Haven.

As for my next class, I had no idea where to find the room and when I did, I was the only one there for about ten minutes, then I messaged my group mates like "Am I in the right room"? Turns out they all, lecturer included, were stuck outside trying to find the room as well. So I went to rescue them.

For the final class, this particular building had beautiful toilet/loo facilities, I couldn't help but capture it.

Speaking of beautiful, take in this next building. I bet you can't tell what it is.

Right across from this building (our infamous Boots Library - unsure of the reason behind the name), is our Student's Union, where I'll have to be in a few hours for the mandatory Union meeting, seeing that I am an elected Academic Rep.

That's a wrap. I hope you felt as welcomed as the signage and infrastructure hoped.

See you next week, when I take you to another city - this time a popular one. Can you guess?

Cheers,
Davene
