Let's go back to the beginning of October.

It's only been a month since I arrived in this new and exciting place (06/10/19). I'm guessing a lot of persons would be shocked to know that, but oh well.

Here's a little bit of back story though.

Departed Canada to Jamaica in July.
Did visa application process in August.
Expected a response in September.
Received my passport with visa in October.

Arrived in England in October. Settled in my accommodation. Began my classes. Toured the city center. Attended a few community events. Got important paperwork done. Connected with a few old friends. Hardly made any new ones. Finally started attending church.

Elected Academic Representative. Offered Faith Ambassador position. Awaiting job and volunteer opportunities.

This takes us to the end of October. Should I tell you what the first day here was like?
