My 2020 Song

Just wanted to talk about my song for 2020. It is:

Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) by Hillsong

Towards the end of 2019, on more than one occasion, the Lord turned my attention to the story of Peter who, when he saw Jesus walking on the water in the midst of the storm, and told the Lord that if it was Him, He should bid him to come. So Jesus tells Peter to come, Peter obeys and he walks on the water towards Jesus.
The more I focus on the story, the more I feel like I'm being interchanged with Peter, and Jesus is saying "Davene, come, walk on water". I know the story doesn't end there with Peter, but for some reason, it's like I am not allowed to focus, beyond the point where the scripture indicates that Peter walks on water.

So, remember last week I asked you, what do you see in 2020?

Here's my answer:
I see Jesus in the midst of the storm, bidding me to walk on the water towards Him. And just as how I wasn't allowed to go beyond that point in Peter's story, I'm not seeing anything beyond that point in mine. It makes me even more intrigued to see what's beyond there, as I walk towards Jesus, on the water.

2020 is my #WOW year. It's the year for me to #WalkOnWater.
